Become a Volunteer

Would you like to make a difference to the lives of others while giving back to your community? East Boise County Ambulance District is actively seeking volunteer drivers and EMT's in the Idaho City, Mores Creek/Wilderness Ranch, Placerville/Centerville and Lowman areas.

If you're not sure if patient care is right for you, but you’d still like to contribute to the well being of this wonderful community, ambulance drivers are absolutely invaluable and play an incredibly important role in the rural EMS system and we are always actively seeking new drivers. All you need to drive is a current CPR certificate and a clear and valid driver’s license.

East Boise County Ambulance District is here to enhance the quality of life in the communities it serves by providing the highest quality of pre-hospital care and transportation for the sick and injured, thus improving medical outcomes. Our mission is accomplished through the cooperation and collaboration of individual providers, their individual units, our Medical Director, Command Staff and Governing Board in an environment that focuses on the safety and professional competency of all members in pursuit of efficient utilization of available resources.
